Su Wan discovers that her mother, Su Mei, has fallen into a romance scam targeting older adults. A shady matchmaking agency works with professional dating scammers, deliberately preying on seniors who live alone and tricking them into selling their homes and handing over their retirement savings. Su Wan goes undercover to gather evidence and joins forces with other victims, gradually exposing an eight-year-old fraud network. In the end, the entire gang is arrested and the stolen money is recovered.
