College student Hu Hai accidentally reincarnates as a puppy, is rescued in a flood by safety officer Jiang Ran, and gets a new name, Jiang Lai. To become a search and rescue dog, he overcomes physical shortcomings, trains hard, and grows alongside his partners. From searching for people on a rainy night to rescuing in disaster areas, through test after test he learns to respect life, trust comrades, and pass on the kindness he received to more people. From a cub needing protection to a capable special-grade dog, he gradually understands that a hero is not about forcing strength or competing for victory, but using skills to protect life and responsibility to respond to trust. Puppies also have hero dreams; every brave departure is to make more lives return safely.
