Prosecutor Xu Zhiwei follows her boyfriend Cheng Jingchuan to his old family home in the Thai countryside to visit relatives, and on the way encounters a fruit stall engaging in forced buying and selling, calmly defending her rights according to the law. Cheng Jingchuan urges her to hide her identity and just say she does administrative odd jobs.
