A Wrong Marriage Under the Veil, Concealing Talent, A Match Made in Heaven
An accidental mix-up of bridal sedan chairs leads Shangguan Chen, son of the Grand Commandant, to become the consort of Princess Chang of Sui'an, Zhaoming Chuyu. One is quick-witted, carefree, and seemingly unrestrained; the other is cool-headed, domineering, and hides her sharp edge beneath the surface. Originally, they are merely a nominal couple, each seeking what they need. Yet through countless verbal sparrings, tests of trust, and moments of standing side by side, affection gradually blossoms between them. Meanwhile, undercurrents swirl through the imperial court, as the struggle for the throne and long-buried secrets from years past gradually come to light. As the truth slowly unfolds, was this mistaken marriage merely an accident, or a match destined by fate?
