Winds Across the Pastures, Treading Snow, Never to Return
Shen Luo is the last surviving heir of the Treading Snow Breath technique. Years ago, she saved Xiao Chengyuan and spent seven years risking her life to help him secure his position as the master of the ranch, willingly becoming a substitute for the woman he loved. But when his beloved first love, Lin Wanqing, returned, she maliciously framed Shen Luo. After weighing his options, Xiao Chengyuan abandoned her in a dilapidated stable. On the night of their wedding, Shen Luo used her secret technique to fake her death and fled to the frontier with the gold and silver buried with her, determined to live freely. A mountain flood exposed the truth about her empty coffin, and Xiao Chengyuan traveled a thousand miles to beg her to return. But some wounds never heal. No longer willing to be trapped by love and endless calculations, Shen Luo chooses to live alone amid the vast winds beyond the frontier, leaving her past behind and forgetting the man she once loved.
