Chen Shi's bakery caught the envy of landlords Zhao Defa and his wife due to its booming business. The two forced him to move out under the guise of a "renovation fee", attempting to take back the thriving shop. Helplessly, Chen Shi relocated to the alley entrance in the south of the city, and gradually turned the quiet, remote shop into a popular destination through his craftsmanship, integrity, and dedication to his customers. After taking over the old shop, the Zhao family cut corners, used expired ingredients, and hired internet trolls to smear others, ultimately resulting in their shop being sealed off and everyone turning against them. The so-called thriving shop does not lie in its location, but in human hearts; honest business can gather true popularity and wealth.
