The story follows Shen Mo, heir to the ancient lineage of the Mojin captains, who ventures into a thousand-year-old tomb to find his missing master. There, he unexpectedly discovers that he carries the bloodline of the ancient Dragon-Controlling Clan. After gathering the nine Dragon Vein Pearls, he uncovers the truth about the Heavenly Emperor and the Demon God: the Heavenly Emperor seeks to enslave humanity, while the Demon God is actually its protector. Shen Mo leaps into the Reincarnation Well, sacrificing his memories to seal the Heavenly Emperor once more.
