Each girl faces her own family struggles, and together they overcome parental opposition, poor playing fields, and a lack of equipment. While catching up on their schoolwork, they train relentlessly. They endure defeats and conflicts on the field, growing stronger through every setback as they fight their way to the national finals and pull off an astonishing comeback to win the championship.
