Lin Xiufang, a retired aunt who has exhausted half her life giving everything for her children, sees through the coldness and thinness of family affection after a major illness, and suddenly awakens. Unwilling to be her juniors' free nanny and ATM anymore, she contacts three other bitter sisters who also suffered from family exploitation, and they move together to a pastoral courtyard to embrace group retirement.
