Dividends Only Five Thousand, Run This Shop Yourself
Zheng Feng and Ma Qiang partnered to run a barbecue restaurant for four years. When it came time to split the profits, Zheng Feng was treated unfairly and received only 5,000. Furious, he ended the partnership, collected 80,000 yuan as his buyout, and opened his own small late-night eatery, Feng Ji. After setbacks caused by order-taking mistakes, he recruited an apprentice, Du Xiaochuan. With reliable food and punctual deliveries, he gradually established a solid reputation. When competing for a night-market catering contract, he faced his former partner once again. Ma Qiang's reckless expansion eventually brought his business crashing down, while Zheng Feng's steady management secured regular orders and put him firmly in control of his own future.
