The fiery butcher woman Shen Sanniang struggles to get by alone with her three daughters. For the price of half a pig's worth of meat, she actually picks up a down-and-out general! The once-proud general instantly turns into her household odd-job worker, chopping wood and feeding pigs with ease. Sanniang's daily routine is teasing the general and managing his food and drink, full of chaotic and hilarious moments. Who would have thought that the cold, aloof general would be wrapped around her finger so tamely, refusing to leave their humble marketplace courtyard.
