A Mortal's Tale of Slaying Immortals: Starting as a Constable

Having been named an outstanding constable twice, he is exempted from military service. Before his captain dies, he entrusts Chen Xia with caring for his daughter, Xu Zhen, and Chen Xia promises to look after her. At first, Xu Zhen misunderstands his intentions repeatedly, leading to a series of amusing mishaps. But through his quiet kindness and sincere actions, Chen Xia gradually earns her trust.
