Six-year-old Fu Niannian possesses extraordinary talent for appraising treasures, yet her only wish is to be a carefree little salted fish. At an auction, she sees through a bid item as a high-quality fake painting, saving the Fu family from suffering massive losses. During the family heirloom selection, she chooses the dog food bowl at home—which turns out to be a precious ancient relic—and helps her father win the selection. Gu Yan, former brother-in-law of the eldest sister, fabricates false evidence to report them, plunging the Fu family into crisis; the fake painting hides the authentic original work inside its layers, and the truth successfully resolves the turmoil. Niannian declines the invitation to the grand treasure appraisal gathering and happily goes on vacation.
