In a year of famine and disaster, the divine beast Taotie He He unexpectedly reincarnates as a little girl who died of hunger, adopted by the kind and impoverished Zhou family. Possessing divine power of merit, she can not only conjure food and summon wind and rain, but also protects her parents, helps villagers, and punishes evildoers all the way, allowing a family whose fate was originally fraught with misfortune to turn the tables step by step. As the Zhou family walks out of the countryside and enters Linchuan, He He is also drawn into the former dynasty's orphans, red gold ore, and the conspiracy of restoring the country. In the end, she shatters foreign conspiracies, assists Xiao Cheng'an in ascending the throne, and grows from the "little immortal" in everyone's mouth into the state-protecting goddess guarding the world.
