Burning Heaven Seal
Chu Zhao, the paper-burning maiden, conceals a Burning Heaven Seal on her left wrist. Fifteen years ago, her family suffered a catastrophe, leaving her as the sole survivor. An imperial decree summoning her to the capital draws her into that bustling yet turbulent city—where the truth, her family, and old grievances all lie deep within the palace. The Burning Heaven Seal burns the soul and consumes the seven emotions; the stronger she becomes, the more she must sever an emotion, until her very self is burned to ashes. From the border town to the deep palace, she investigates cases and grows along the way, step by step uncovering a shocking old case. This time, she will demand justice, and she will make this inverted world shine brightly once again.
