Charlatan, Xiaohuahua - Season 2
There are two great nuisances in the Underworld: one is a flower, and the other is a book. After the Book of Life and Death, which governs the fate and lifespan of all things in the world, gains sentience, it takes advantage of its innate privileges to gossip about everyone instead of doing its job. After a thousand years, a red spider lily transforms into human form. Seeing her promising potential, the King of Hell makes an exception and appoints her as Meng Po's assistant. At first, she does her job well, but as time passes, she grows increasingly bored. Then, one day, these two troublemakers cross paths. Finding kindred spirits in each other, they become inseparable: one digs up gossip while the other listens to stories. Before long, they become the two biggest nuisances in the Underworld, leaving not even a passing dog's secrets untouched. Exasperated, the King of Hell decides to send them both to the mortal world to be reformed.

저승에는 두 골칫덩이가 있다. 하나는 꽃 한 송이이고, 다른 하나는 책 한 권이다. 세상 만물의 생사를 관장하는 생사부는 영지를 얻자 타고난 조건을 이용해 날마다 남의 소문만 캐고 맡은 일은 하지 않았다. 천 년의 세월이 흐른 뒤, 만주사화 한 송이가 사람의 모습으로 변했다. 염라대왕은 그녀의 자질이 뛰어나다고 여겨 특별히 맹파의 조수로 삼았다. 처음에는 일을 제법 잘했지만 시간이 흐를수록 지루함을 느꼈다. 그러던 어느 날, 이 두 골칫덩이가 마주쳤다. 서로 마음이 통하자 걷잡을 수 없게 되었고, 한쪽은 소문을 캐고 다른 쪽은 이야기를 들으며 시간을 보냈다. 이윽고 저승의 대표적인 두 골칫덩이가 되어 지나가던 개 한 마리조차 털끝 하나 남기지 않고 비밀을 털어놓게 만들었다. 골치가 아파진 염라대왕은 결국 두 녀석을 인간 세상으로 보내 다시 교육하기로 했다.
