Lin Chen, a chief veterinarian, angrily resigns and returns to Dahuaishu Village after becoming fed up with his unscrupulous boss's obsession with profit. Using his family's ancestral, intangible cultural heritage techniques in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, he saves a heroic search-and-rescue dog with a single silver needle, cures a million-dollar racehorse through hands-on bone manipulation, and resolves a countywide beef cattle hunger strike using whatever is available locally! When his former boss resorts to underhanded suppression and attempts to steal his prescriptions, Lin Chen turns the tables, striking back with superb medical skills and exemplary ethics. In the end, he marries the woman he loves, establishes a training program to take on numerous apprentices, and leads the entire village to prosperity. Witness how this master veterinarian brings life back to the ailing and writes a legendary tale in which all living things possess a spirit!
