The Mountains and Rivers Do Not Fail Those Who Return
After winning the lottery, Gu Chengyue returns home after years of wandering, only to be despised by his eldest daughter, Gu Yingmei, and his second son, Gu Zhenchuan. When dividing the family, the two are willing to contribute only a meager amount for his upkeep, leaving their father in the care of his kind-hearted youngest son, Gu Zhihe, and his wife. After enduring humiliation at a birthday banquet and a dispute at a property sales office, Gu Chengyue sees his children's true nature. Driven by greed, Gu Zhenchuan and Gu Yingmei repeatedly scheme against him. With the support of his youngest son and daughter-in-law, Gu Chengyue exposes their scams, opens a restaurant, and ultimately finds the happiness he deserves.
