Lin Feng, a rural fruit grower, relies on his experience to help fellow villagers mix pesticides, charging a service fee of ten yuan per mu. However, Lin Xue, a graduate of an agricultural and forestry university, accuses him of making money unscrupulously. Incited by Lin Xue's family, the villagers collectively report Lin Feng and force him to give up managing the orchards. After Lin Xue's family takes over, their eagerness for quick results leads them to misuse pesticides, devastating the village's orchards with chemical damage. To cover up their mistakes, they attempt to destroy Lin Feng's experimental plot and frame him, but surveillance footage exposes the truth. After weathering the storm, the villagers finally realize their mistake. Lin Feng and Shen Lan work together to improve the fruit trees and lead everyone in restoring the orchards and achieving a bountiful harvest. They also find love, while the villagers learn the importance of scientific farming.
