The chief of the ancient Black Wind Stronghold accidentally travels through time to the modern city, making a living doing odd jobs with his brute strength. Utilizing his ability to travel back and forth, he brings food, clothing, and medicine back to the resource-deficient stronghold, while also learning technologies such as greenhouse farming, building heated brick kangs, constructing cement fortress walls, and setting up solar power. Facing foreign invaders, he cleverly uses modern supplies to defend the stronghold. The Black Wind Stronghold takes in refugees, reclaims wasteland for farming, develops handicraft industries, and is finally appointed as a militia by the government, carving out a secure and stable home in troubled times.
