On a stormy night with a mountain torrent, the hunter Lu Yan saves a three-year-old girl named Xiao Man from a mudslide. Xiao Man can perceive the mountain forest, guiding Lu Yan to find mountain treasures and pay off his family's debts. The ruffian Huo Biao harbors evil intentions, repeatedly snatching supplies and plotting to abduct Xiao Man, but is ultimately captured. Huo Hu faces danger when blowing up a cave, and Lu Yan ventures to save him, unexpectedly finding Xiao Man's trapped birth mother, Lan Niang, on a cliff.
