What if the Three Kingdoms were a bunch of working cats? Cat people start companies and fight over territory. Liu Bei, a small-time boss with neither territory nor budget, teams up with Guan Yu, a top sales champion, and Zhang Fei, a hot-tempered fellow, to swear brotherhood in the Peach Garden. They venture into the temporary project team of eighteen warlords led by Yuan Shao. Guan Yu kills Hua Xiong after warming the wine, and the Three Heroes battle Lü Bu. The alliance falls apart, and Yuan Shao and Cao Cao turn against each other. Xu You switches jobs and offers a strategy, prompting Cao Cao to set fire to Wuchao. Tao Qian repeatedly passes the buck, leaving Liu Bei to take responsibility for Xuzhou. Zhang Fei gets drunk, and Lü Bu steals their home. With no other choice, Liu Bei seeks refuge with Boss Cao, who loves poaching talent, and recruits Zhao Yun, who turns down a high salary.
