A northern girl, A Lan, drove a dozen dairy goats to a border trade town, wanting to settle down with fresh milk, but was repeatedly rejected by tea drinkers and passersby who disliked the gamey smell. With the fresh milk unable to be sold and about to spoil, she started from a pot of tea-scented goat milk, explored and improved the flavor, and learned to make milk skin and milk curds from an old herdsman. The old teahouse keeper resented her for stealing business and made things difficult for her everywhere; A Lan did not quarrel, but won trust through the earnestly made dairy snacks and sincere cooperation. When the severe winter arrived, the small milk shop and the teahouse became a warm place for travelers to rest their feet, and also allowed the people in the town to find a new way to help and support one another.
