Xia Ren transmigrates into the body of Li Yuan, and opens his eyes right in the middle of the Xuanwu Gate Incident. His system promptly self-destructs, leaving him with fifty extra years of life and a troublesome little rascal attribute panel. Who wants this mess can have it! He just wants to retire. When Li Shimin arrives, covered in blood and brimming with murderous intent, to force his way into the palace, Li Yuan doesn't cry or throw a fit. Instead, he hurls the imperial jade seal at him. "You unfilial brat! Take your throne and get out! Don't keep me from going to Haichi to admire beautiful women... I mean, cultivate my mind and body!" Holding the jade seal, Li Shimin is left completely bewildered. "Father, that's not how this is supposed to go!" From that moment on, the entire Tang Dynasty takes a hilariously unexpected turn.
