Fated to Meet the Immortal Maiden, Treading the Nine Heavens
A young man follows his grandfather's dying wish and lies low in a mountain village for three years. As promised, he ventures into Cloudmist Mountain and rescues an injured, poisoned woman cultivator dressed in purple, unexpectedly forging an immortal bond with her. He awakens a rare Thunder Spiritual Root, but because its grade is insufficient, he receives only a cultivation technique and watches the immortal maiden depart. At a moment of peril, the ancestor residing within his family's heirloom jade pendant appears. By exchanging his own lifespan for opportunities, the young man obtains a thousand-year-old spiritual herb, an earthly marrow treasure, and domineering thunder techniques. Through diligent cultivation, he steadily breaks through to higher realms, settles old grudges, and resolves to travel to an immortal sect, embarking on a long journey to find the immortal maiden who has captured his heart.
