Shen Yan and Su Wan join hands to retire into the countryside, finding a small courtyard to settle down. Waking up in the morning to tend to the vegetable garden and look after the melons and fruits, lighting a fire to cook in the evening, boiling simple meals, and chatting with kind neighbors about everyday matters in their spare time. The two accompany each other through the three meals of the four seasons, guarding each other in the daily fireworks, feeling the steady flow of time in the ordinary years, and quietly savoring this secure happiness hidden in the pastoral fireworks.
