Zhu Mizhen, who has been missing for nine years, returns from the alien realm of immortality cultivation, just as a rift anomaly descends upon the city. Following clues to trace the whereabouts of her younger sister, Zhu Miyin, she unexpectedly learns that her sister has long become the first humanoid anchor supporting the world's barrier. Faced with the dilemma that using her power would widen the rift, she lets go of her solitary habits, joins forces with boundary-guarding activists and ordinary citizens, breaks the deadlock with the wisdom of array formations, and ultimately shatters the old rule of trading a minority's sacrifice for peace, carving out a new path for everyone to guard together, while also finding the close family member she had been separated from for nine years.
