Fired on New Year's Eve, I Turned My Life Around with Twenty Yuan
On New Year's Eve, Ye Bufan, a 30-year-old factory worker, is publicly fired and receives only a crumpled, dirty 20-yuan bill. With nowhere left to turn, he spends his last money on a few lottery tickets and unexpectedly wins tens of millions overnight. But getting rich is not the end of his comeback; it is the beginning of a storm of greedy relatives, the demolition of his ancestral home, and revelations about his father's old case. Faced with schemes and people closing in on him, Ye Bufan refuses to back down. He is determined to protect his money, his home, and, above all, the dignity others once trampled underfoot.
