In Lotus Village, Jiang Jingfeng was left with a leg disability after bravely saving someone years ago. His wife, He Lan, has been in poor health for years, and their family of three barely makes ends meet through their daughter Jiang Xiaoyue's street stall selling handmade bamboo crafts. One day, Zhou Dachuan, a traveling merchant passing through Lotus Village, is impressed by Jiang Xiaoyue's exquisite bamboo weaving and visits the family to discuss a business partnership. Unexpectedly, he discovers that He Lan bears a striking resemblance to the long-lost only daughter of He Wanghai, the chairman of a corporate group, who disappeared ten years ago. After confirming the connection, He Wanghai, who has spent years searching for his daughter, finally finds a lead and personally travels to Lotus Village to reunite with He Lan. After years of hardship, He Lan finally receives proper medical treatment, while her granddaughter Jiang Xiaoyue's bamboo-weaving business expands beyond the mountain village with the merchant's support. At last, the family is reunited.
