Shen Yu'an lives with her daughter, who wears a cochlear implant. They have long suffered relentless harassment and verbal abuse from a neighbor downstairs, while repeated complaints have failed to get the property management to take proper action. To protect her daughter, she rents out her apartment to a rock band, making the neighbor experience the very noise that has been troubling them.
