Lin Fan transmigrates into the cultivation world and joins Qingyun Sect, which appears to be down on its luck. Everyone in the sect has an eccentric personality: his master is so socially anxious that he communicates only through written notes, his eldest senior brother has romance on the brain, his second senior sister loves fighting, his third senior sister is obsessed with keeping accounts, and the old man who sweeps the grounds conceals peerless strength. Convinced that he is the only normal person, Lin Fan is forced to shoulder the burden of keeping the sect alive. Drawing on his previous life's workplace experience, he leads the team through sect rankings and dangerous secret realms, uncovering the thousand-year-old secret of the Taixuan Sacred Land. Facing conspiracies surrounding the Sacred Path and powerful enemies closing in, Lin Fan leads his eccentric companions to use ordinary human wisdom to shatter a thousand-year-old deception and forge an entirely new path to the Great Dao.
