Heavy rain blocks the roads, and Shengshi Group senior executive Shen Tingwan stays temporarily in a mountain village, where villager Zhou Cuifen claims she is a wealthy daughter-in-law forcing herself upon them. Her belongings are seized and her personal freedom restricted. After escaping, the Zhou mother and son chase her to the city, making trouble at her company and residential compound, and colluding with disgruntled executive Wang Defa. Shen Tingwan calmly gathers evidence to fight back, exposes all lies, and brings all the villains to justice. Later, she returns to the mountain village to develop a tea plantation, leading the villagers to increase their income and reconciling with the past.
