The Waste Trapped in Time
An anti-gambling fantasy tragic-romance short drama. After the World Cup, Ye Yichen went into heavy gambling debt, jumped from a building, and fell into a coma, while his wife Bai Xue cared for him meticulously for five years. Bai Xue's first love, Mu Yuchen, and Ye Yichen's first-love consultant, Wen Nian, developed a brain-computer anti-gambling trial system, constructing multiple reincarnation illusions for him. In the first round of rebirth returning to the eve of the gambling disaster, Ye Yichen splits into dual personalities of greed and guilt. Learning to his horror that Bai Xue carries the memory of three lifetimes of reincarnation and sacrifices herself again and again to redeem him, the two travel together across various places in Guizhou, hidden beneath a cruel shackle: the day Ye Yichen completely quits gambling, Bai Xue will completely dissipate. With a farewell at Yunman Lake, Bai Xue disappears, and the first round of trial fails.
