Village girl Tian Xiaoman went to the city alone after being abandoned, building her business from a street stall to a full shop using her family's heirloom braised food craft. She met and fell in love with state-run restaurant chef Zhou Jianguo, and after going through twists and turns like peer competition, relatives making things difficult, and the landlord taking back the house, the two got engaged and married. After Zhou Jianguo injured his hand, he worked hard to recover and returned to the kitchen; Tian Xiaoman took on a large order from the provincial capital, making her business boom. After marriage, she became pregnant, and both mothers vied to take care of them, bringing new hope to the small shop and family.
