At a food live broadcast competition, the female protagonist is plotted against and framed by her stepsister, nearly eating a high-allergen toxic soup, and accidentally binds with the Taste Counter-Destiny System. Relying on the system's taste assistance and her own family culinary skills, she repeatedly pierces through the opponent's scheme and confronts her family's coercion plot to seize the shop. On the eve of the finals, she is backstabbed and her sense of taste is sealed, losing the system's detail blessing, and she struggles to prepare for the competition relying on her memorized heat and texture feel. The final opponent smashes the secret recipe spices in an attempt to cut off her path ahead, but the female protagonist abandons her reliance on the secret recipe, using the leftover ingredients of nine dishes to make the final dish. With dishes as proof, she exposes all conspiracies, reclaims the ancestral shop, completes self-redemption, and understands to be kind to herself first, rather than blindly pleasing others.
