Zhang Dazhuang goes hunting in the mountains and disappears, only to transmigrate into his family's old yellow ox. After becoming an ox, he discovers that his wife and children have long been bullied by his relatives and, after his death, can only live in the cattle shed. Relying on system missions, Zhang Dazhuang advances his transformation back into human form by ensuring his wife and children have enough food and warm clothes. He leads them into the mountains to make a fortune, repeatedly humiliating his second uncle's family and others in the village who covet his family's resources. In the end, the yellow ox turns back into Zhang Dazhuang, and he builds a house, buys land, settles accounts with the villains, and reunites his family.
