Using her exceptional medical skills, she repeatedly demonstrates her abilities. At a poetry gathering, she helps Xie Jingheng outshine Xie Shaoan and exposes his scheme to destroy the medicinal herb garden. Xie Jingheng discovers that she is actually a woman and secretly protects her. After Jiang Yue is ambushed, she reveals her true identity to him. The two join forces to investigate the case and uncover that the Third Prince had conspired with the Shen family and Xie Shaoan to frame the Jiang family all those years ago.
