Ye Qingyan, the legitimate daughter of the Marquis of Zhenbei's household, has her spiritual root ripped out by her illegitimate younger sister and is buried alive in a mass grave. At the brink of death, her soul merges with the memories of a medical immortal from her previous life. She awakens the Primordial Chaos Divine Cauldron and Heavenly Eye, then bursts out of the earth. Using her peerless medical skills, she cures the Gu poison afflicting Prince Han, Ye Beiming, and publicly exposes Ye Liushuang for stealing her spiritual root before crippling her cultivation. At the alchemy plaza, Ye Qingyan refines a seventh-grade Nirvana Marrow-Cleansing Pill, triggering a pill tribulation and instantly making her famous. At an auction, she then overwhelms Duanmu Hong, the young master of Medicine King Valley, with a Spirit-Restoring Pill. Her Shennong Medicine Lodge opens in the imperial capital with three strict rules, and her reputation rapidly spreads. When Duanmu Hong, the young master of Medicine King Valley, covets a medicinal garden in a secret realm and is killed, a Heavenly Doctor assassination warrant is issued. Ye Qingyan and Ye Beiming join forces to fight back.
