Ten years ago, Li Xuanxiao, a Confucian Sage, shattered his literary heart to seal the Void Beast Emperor and went into hiding in Qingyun Town, where he became a schoolteacher and endured humiliation from the townspeople. When the Void Beasts broke through the rift and swept across the town, and the martial artists were utterly defeated, Li Xuanxiao revealed his true strength as a Confucian Sage and repelled the enemies with his righteous spirit. His reappearance attracted the attention of the remaining Void forces and various factions. Military generals from the prefectural city and powerful Void beings took turns challenging him. Joining forces with Lin Wan'er, Li Xuanxiao united the empire's great Confucian scholars and martial artists to establish the Demon-Suppression Army. After a series of bloody battles, they defeated the traitors and the powerful Void enemies, breathing new life into the declining path of literary cultivation. In the end, he gathered the faith of humanity and faced the Beast Emperor in its true form, protecting the world and humankind with the eternal flame of civilization.
