Back to the Night of the Receding Tide, I Support My Whole Family by Foraging at Sea
Zhou Chao'an once gambled away his entire family's fortune. When he sees his wife, Su Wanhe, determined to leave home, he resolves to rebuild their family through tidal foraging. Avoiding the crowded main beach, he discovers overlooked, deserted tidal flats, including the northern lowland's abandoned flats. With his ability to read the tides and recognize the mud, he secures a steady income and gradually repays his gambling debts. His paternal cousin Zhou Haikui and the creditor Heigou repeatedly show up to make trouble, while buyer Qian Lifeng deliberately offers unfairly low prices. Developer Han Dongze has also laid hidden traps, hoping to use a development project to seize the entire tidal flat and its underground water resources.
