Yang Zhuo is embarrassed by the birthmark on his wife An Nan's face. While visiting an ancient town, he unexpectedly obtains a wish-granting seed and wishes for her to have the beauty of the actress Xu Feier. That night, thunder crashes, and the news reports that Xu Feier has suffered a terrible mishap. An Nan's appearance indeed changes, but so does her personality. Strange marks hide beneath her scarf, and she becomes obsessive and extravagant. The police later discover that Xu Feier's restored face is exactly what An Nan originally looked like. Yang Zhuo rushes back to the antique shop and obtains a seed for undoing the wish, only to hear the shopkeeper whisper behind him, "The person who made a wish last time chose the same way."
