The Dry Well Nobody Wanted Hides Six Million
Li Baoguo, a bricklayer, quietly devoted twenty years of his life to his family. Yet when the compensation for the demolition and relocation was distributed, his family treated him with indifference, leaving him with nothing but a deserted courtyard and a dry well. By chance, he discovered antiques hidden in a secret compartment in the courtyard and sold them for a fortune, finally raising enough money to heal his left hand, which had been disabled for years. Leaving his past behind, he moved to the city to build a career through honest hard work, staying true to himself and holding firmly to his principles. As his family repeatedly tried to take advantage of him, he gradually learned to establish boundaries in their relationships. After enduring life's ups and downs, Li Baoguo found sincere love. His family eventually came to their senses, learned to take responsibility, and he set off toward a brand-new life of his own.
