A dragon descendant from Longjie Tea Mountain is kept captive by immortals inside the Mountain-and-River Disc. Whoever transforms into a dragon is summoned to Heaven. After guarding the mountain and sealing the dragons for twenty years, the dragon guardian plunges down a bottomless cliff in search of his daughter. At the bottom lie a three-hundred-year-old tortoise, his wife, who shattered her dragon body, and nine scales capable of breaking through Heaven. Above, a two-year-old pureblood little golden dragon is locked in a golden cage, waiting for her father in her babyish voice.
