Su Qingtao accidentally time-travels back to 1981, becoming the mother of Gu Xiaozhou. She gets to know Lu Yuanhang, starting out from a "twenty-eight" heavy-duty bicycle errand team, working down-to-earth, straightening out the fleet's affairs, and taking back her own family's ancestral home. Along the way she meets the child's biological father, Shen Mochen, and learns of the buried past affairs of the Shen family. Leveraging the opportunities of the era, Su Qingtao fights her way up step by step, growing into a leader in the private logistics industry. Shen Mochen accompanies her all the way, devotedly pursuing his wife, and the mother and son join hands to seize the windfall of the 1980s, writing the struggle story that belongs to them.
