Lu Fan is an outer servant disciple of the Lingxiao Sect. Witty and mischievous, he is always coming up with one outrageous idea after another, and he even keeps a divine beast named Meiqiu. By chance, he meets Zheng Yi, a son of fortune, and the two team up to stir up all sorts of hilarious trouble within the sect. They outsmart the arrogant Wei Wutian, son of the prime minister; trap a spirit book within an illusion by using the most bizarre arguments; refine strange pills that turn Zheng Yi into a gorilla; and cleverly foil the schemes of disciples from the Spirit Beast Peak. Later, Lu Fan spots a business opportunity in the sect's token exchange event and sets up a stall to resell tokens. He then unexpectedly catches an elder sneaking into the Treasure Pavilion, and the group accidentally enters the treasury together, triggering a chain of deadly mechanisms. Packed with wild ideas and nonstop laughs, this lighthearted comedy brings the everyday antics of a cultivation sect to life.
