Young pharmacist Fang Yuan comes to an unfamiliar small town, taking over a failing old pharmacy. Partner Shen He is the daughter of the original owner, and the two work hand in hand. Fang Yuan insists on using the most ordinary medicinal herbs to formulate affordable and effective medicine, and Shen He uses attentive service to retain neighborhood residents. They do not pursue exorbitant profits, only hoping to let every patient take reassuring medicine. From desolate to packed, the pharmacy heals the entire old street with the warmth of medicinal herbs.
