Yuanbao is unbearably hungry at his Taoist temple. Just as he is about to steal money from the merit box to buy food, Master Qingfeng tells him that he can go down the mountain to look for his mother. After descending the mountain, Yuanbao joins his father, Chu Tianjiao, in writing Spring Festival couplets. When the Axe Gang shows up to demand protection money, Song Qingci bravely steps forward.
