Su Wanqing senses that her husband Chen Junkai is acting suspiciously and rushes home to catch him in the act, but is blocked outside the bedroom door by Liu Guixiang. She summons her parents and younger brother to engage in a fierce confrontation with Liu Guixiang and Chen Meijuan. Bai Ruoxi unexpectedly appears and dispels some of her doubts, but Su Wanqing insists on having the lock picked. The locksmith is driven away by Chen Meijuan on the grounds that he is not the homeowner, so Su Wanqing angrily hacks open the door with an axe, only to find the room completely empty. While everyone thinks it was a misunderstanding, Su Wanqing discovers that the door lock to Liu Guixiang's room is tightly sealed. After hacking it open once more, the secret between Chen Junkai and her best friend Lin Mengyao is thoroughly exposed. Su Wanqing resolves to divorce and drives everyone out of the house.
