Cooking Fire and Reading Voices in the Old Alley: The Little Maid Meets a Good Leader - Season 1
In the 1990s, 18-year-old Wen Zhiyi came from the countryside to the county town. With no diploma and no job, she could only work as a babysitter at the home of Xu Jingcheng, the deputy director of the machinery factory. Unwilling to be trapped by fate, she studied for self-study exams on one hand and sold agricultural products to do business on the other, living step by step into her own light from living under someone else's roof to buying a house and learning to paint. She only wanted to make money, study, and rush toward her future, but she didn't expect that the calm and restrained "big leader" would fall in love with her first.
