A blizzard is coming. Vegetable vendor Zhou Licheng returns to his village to collect cucumbers, offering two yuan two. The whole village hoards their vegetables waiting for prices to rise, except for Old Liu, who is burdened with debt, grits his teeth and sells out his two sheds of cucumbers, becoming the laughingstock of the entire village. That very night, the blizzard strikes the village, causing sheds to collapse and vegetables to rot.
